Intel Unveils Games That Will Support Its XeSS Upscaling Technology

Image upscaling is an important part of video game innovation, especially for triple-AAA releases. While Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS, is essentially the leader at this moment, AMD has a commendable competitor with its own Fidelity FX Super Resolution, or FSR. To stay aware of the other two, Intel will also be launching its own upscaling software alongside its forthcoming Arc graphics cards. With that, the chip manufacturer has as of late announced which games will be compatible with its XeSS, or Xe Super Sampling, AI.

In a new post on Twitter, Intel enthusiastically made notice of the fact that various enormous releases will uphold its upscaling innovation. Considering that the tweet is accompanied by an image from Kojima Productions' Death Stranding, it obviously implies that that will be one of the named titles. The connection in the post goes to the company's site, which diagrams more games, with several notable releases, and without a doubt more to follow.

As well as the aforementioned Death Stranding, IO Interactive's Hitman 3 will also uphold XeSS. This is perhaps not going to be a gigantic surprise to the people who have been after Intel's advancement, as the software was already demonstrated in the stealth game a couple of months ago. Other games incorporate Rift Breaker, Grid Legends and Playerunknown's Battleground. There are presently just a handful that appear on the full list, yet, as referenced above, it's not at all impossible that there will be more to come further down the line.

Intel is right now preparing to unleash its own range of discreet graphics cards this year. While the Q1 2022 window for Arc Alchemist may have been missed, it's actually anticipated that "team blue" will be releasing its first line of GPU items soon. Benchmark tests are showing that the desktop cards may have the option to match any semblance of the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, however there are speculations that Intel will not be aiming to go up against very good quality GPUs right out the gate.

On top of that, Intel as of late announced its i9 12900KS CPU at CES 2022. It seems as though it will be a busy year for the California-based conglomerate. With a large group of hardware not too far off, and the company pushing its XeSS upscaling innovation, it's not at all impossible that Intel will actually want to take on any semblance of AMD and Nvidia in the graphics card world, yet that all relies upon how easy it will be for purchasers to get hold of items during these uncertain occasions.
